     Estate of Paul and Katharine Frakes. Mr. Frakes retired as a Full Colonel. Mrs. Frakes worked in the Real Estate Industry. Their home will take you back about 50 years. Interesting auction with lots of collectibles and smalls from that era.

    Classic Auto’s 1948 Buick Super 56-C convertible original paint hydromatic top and windows, 86,000 miles ready to drive or show. 1962 Ford Thunderbird convertible, 84,000 miles with slide away steering, great condition, 1981 Delorean 6, 000 miles stainless steel body first year made number 763 second owner car was purchased from a Delorean Motors executive. Not running.

    Note regarding autos. The estate P.R. has requested the right of first refusal on the final bids on the autos. However is very motivated to sell each car.  Payment by certified funds or cash, Personal checks accepted, titles will be held until check clears.

Huge collection of Nation Geographic, Time Life sets, stacks of magazines from 1960’s and on, boxes full of Buick Collector Club newsletters, Civil War and Pearl Harbor books, Children’s books, Lansing eastern year books, Selective Service records from the 1960’s (Viet Nam era,) Government letters and on and on.  It looks like Mr. Frakes saved everything throughout his military career, We have not gone through it all so who knows. But if you into paper goods don’t miss this auction.
